My first interest in photography came from documentary greats such as Don McCullin and fantastic landscape artists such as Ansel Adams.
I have always had a love of the outdoors either riding bikes or fell walking. I always seem to have been taking photographs from an early age so it was a natural progression to turn towards landscape and cycling photography.
Being a photographer in Lancashire on the north west coast of England is convenient for wonderful coastal vistas and also only a stones throw from the wonderful Cumbrian fells of the Lake District, the Bowland fells, the Peak District or the fantastic Yorkshire Dales. I can often be found roaming the fells or coastline on two feet or two wheels.
